I paid $148.80 for mini golf because the place said, "we can only split it on one card," and apparently I raised my hand to become the accountant for six adults.

Like, everybody was very available when we were picking colored golf balls and taking pictures in front of the fake waterfall.

And somehow Kelsey had money for a $14 frozen lemonade, Jake bought arcade credits after, and Ava got the little branded visor that says "putt queen" in rhinestones.

But when I ask for $24.80 back, suddenly everyone needs three to five business days to remember how money works.

So now I just make the group in Reclaim before we even get to the counter.

I add everybody, put in the entry fee once, and it calculates each person's share so I can send the requests before people scatter to post their scorecards like professional athletes.

Now the mini golf group is already sitting there, the amounts are clean, and I'm not doing emotional labor over a windmill and six rental putters.
